It was a perfect September day for Matt and Bethany’s recent wedding at Longacre Bed & Breakfast. There was barely a cloud in the sky which was the beautiful day they hoped for! We had a past of rain following us from session to session – and hoped our third time together would be a charm and it was! Matt had special plans in store for Bethany, as he surprised her with not one wedding gift, but gifts on the hour approaching their wedding hour.
There were beautiful roses, a basketball signed by the one and only Coach Krzyzewski from her favorite Duke team, and then a Bible personalized with her new married name. It was incredibly touching! Then at 4:00, under the cover of a large tree, they became man and wife. She glowed in a gown with the most delicate beading, and he grinned from ear to ear in his handsome tan suit. They had a lovely day surrounded by so many friends and family and danced throughout the evening.
