Wedding Wednesday has been a staple on the Facebook fan page for over a year now. It’s a weekly event every Wednesday and usually features a sneak peek of recent wedding photography or tips on a specific facet of wedding planning like colors, rings or flowers. I’ve never brought the feature to the blog and I’m not sure why?! It’s such fun to put together every week as a wedding photographer and I’m sure the readers here like you would love to see it, too! So, here it is… a Wedding Wednesday blog post!
To kick it off (no pun intended!) this week’s feature is all about shoes!! The modern bride is planning her wardrobe from head to toe with personal touches. It’s not just about the dress, something old, something new, something borrowed, or something blue… it’s also about fabulous shoes! So it’s my job to make sure that every personal touch is remembered for years to come with some special wedding photography of just the bride’s special shoes. They describe the bride’s style quicker than any other detail… casual, sparkly, colorful, functional, modest, bold, delicate, trendy or classic… from stilettos to flip flops or even cowboy boots… a girl’s shoes can say a lot. In addition to saying a lot about her style, she may also opt for her bridesmaids to say a little something special to her by personalizing the sole of her wedding day shoes with a special message. It’s another small way to remember how special your day is. Enjoy some of the shoe choices my brides have made.
