Portrait sessions can seem overwhelming. Wedding days can be stressful and short lived. We all ask ourselves… Will my kids behave? Will I/we feel awkward or have fun? Will my clothes look right? I understand all of that because I’m a woman, mother, and wife, too.
The good news is I only expect that you are comfortable, enjoy your experience and walk away with images that capture the essence of you and your relationships. It will be a little more creative and little less stiff because I believe sessions should be relaxed and like visiting with a friend.
I also believe kids grow up too fast, relationships (no matter if you have been together days or decades) are what ties us together, and that wedding days are once in a lifetime.
My photography style is a blend of classic and contemporary. It is distinctly simple and clean with a slight touch of flair. It’s very personal, from holding hands and reflective moments to your wedding day details you planned in your mind forever. It’s natural. It’s real.
It is not your Mother’s traditional portraits, nor newspaper style journalism. It’s not painted portraits, perfect poses, uber stylish or processed imagery.
