Senior Portraits FAQs
With 18 years of experience, I know how to plan, pose and guide clients to make them feel relaxed while looking their very best. I use skilled lighting techniques to bring out your best features and when it's all done I offer the highest quality products to look at for years to come.
Did you know I can photograph seniors all year round in the studio? Any time of year outdoors can be beautiful for portraits! But, typically late summer and fall are the most popular time for senior sessions. Because of that, it is also the toughest to get on my calendar. I only shoot THREE senior sessions a week. I encourage you to choose your date as soon as possible.
I recommend starting Junior year and scheduling a time to chat as soon as you can! We usually need a few months in advance of your desired session date, but I'm occasionally able to take last-minute sessions if my schedule allows it. The best thing you could do is BOOK YOUR SESSION EARLY! I will usually be sold out before senior year starts.
Sessions are typically held on weekday evenings. Weekend appointments are rare and require advance approval. I prefer to shoot in the last three hours before sunset so the daily heat has subsided and the sunny glow remains. When booking your session keep in mind in the fall we are dark by 6:30pm so it may require you to leave school early to prepare.
Your collection is custom designed with a keepsake item, wall art and studio prints to share with family. Your collection purchase includes complimentary digital files because I know you love the security of always having the image files and the flexibility of sharing them online. While digital files risk getting lost in the ever-changing tide of technology, printed photos offer a timeless legacy to be cherished for generations.
